NORTHFIELD — Beginning Monday, Dec. 1, and continuing through Friday, Dec. 5, Mill Road in Northfield will be detoured between Shore Road and Bay Avenue for a county road improvement project.
The detour will be in effect as follows:
From 7 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2; from 7 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4; and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5.
Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and allow extra time to reach their destinations or find an alternate route.  County officials are aware of the temporary inconvenience to residents and businesses and appreciate their cooperation.
