Two Pleasantville teens placed on probation

MAYS LANDING – Two Pleasantville teens received one year of probation Friday, Nov. 7 from Superior Court Judge James L. Jackson, Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel said.
Daquan Davis, 15, of Neumark Avenue, arrested and charged with possession of cocaine Oct. 6, received an 18-month suspended sentence at the Training School for Boys and was placed on probation for one year. He was ordered to attend and complete the Minister’s Home Detention Project, attend intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment, attend school, submit to DNA typing, submit to periodic urine monitoring, pay a $1,000 DEDR fine, a $25 lab fee, a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine, and a $60 Victims of Crime Compensation Agency penalty. He will also lose his drivers license for six months.
Ronald O’Toole, 18, of Charles Avenue, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit 10 burglaries with two co-defendents between March 19 and April 23. He received an 18-month suspended sentence at the Training School for Boys and was placed on probation for one year. He was ordered to pay restitution, maintain gainful employment, have no contact with the victims or co-defendants, submit to DNA typing, pay a $15 Law Enforcement Officers’ Protection Act fine and a $30 Victims of Crime Compensation Agency penalty.
