Man found dead in EHC identified

EGG HARBOR CITY – The body of man found face down on a road here was identified as Corey Pohlig of Mays Landing, Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel said Thursday, July 24.
Pohlig, 25, was found by local police; responding to a report of a body in the road on Third Terrace between Route 30 and Atlantic Avenue the morning of Wednesday, July 23.
AtlantiCare paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene.
Atlantic County Medical Examiner Dr. Hydow Park performed an autopsy Wednesday afternoon. The cause of death is pending further studies and an investigation.
Egg Harbor City Detective Sgt. Rick Cantz and Patrolman Michael Luko are investigating with the assistance of Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Investigator Kevin Hincks under the supervision of Sgt. Keith Fane.
