VENTNOR – The Ventnor Police Department is looking for a 16-year-old Hispanic Atlantic City High School student who reportedly ran away from home June 13.

Police said Hugo Ortiz, described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds, was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, baggy blue jean shorts and white sneakers. They said he called home once on June 14 from a number that was traced to a pay phone in Atlantic City. No one has seen or heard from him since.

Anyone who has information on Ortiz’s whereabouts or who has seen someone fitting his description is asked to call Detective Thomas Schallus at (609) 823-7986.
