Suspect caught on camera
GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – The image of a burglary suspect was recorded by a security camera May 24 and now Galloway Township police are hoping to catch him for real by releasing the photo to the news media.
The Galloway Township Police Department responded to Pomona Plaza Saturday, May 24 on the report of a business burglary overnight. Two businesses were found to have been entered, police said: Two Brother’s Pizza and neighboring Orchid’s Café.
A thief entered through a rear window into Orchid’s Café and broke through an inner wall into Two Brother’s Pizza, according to police who said an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
The surveillance video shows the suspect. He is a white male in his late teens to early 20s, wearing a dark jacket, a hat with white writing on front, jeans and white sneakers. Anyone with information should call Detective Donna Buccafurni at (609) 652-3705, ext. 323.
