HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — Steve Caldwell of Mays Landing has announced that he will run for Hamilton Township Committee in the 2008 general election for the three-year seat currently held by Committeeman Joseph Nickels who is not seeking reelection.

“I am excited about the campaign and the opportunity to serve the citizens of Hamilton Township.”
Mayor Charles Pritchard said he supports Caldwell’s run.

“Steve will be a formidable candidate,” Pritchard said.  “He gained valuable experience and credibility when he ran for sheriff and I am excited to have someone of Steve’s caliber entering into the race for Township Committee.”
