Three Ventnor commission seats up for election

VENTNOR – All three seats on the City Commission are up for election come May 13.
Anyone interested in running for commissioner of Ventnor must submit all the required forms to the city clerk by 4 p.m. March 20.
Each candidate must provide a petition of nomination containing a minimum of 70 valid signatures, and the candidate and his or her campaign manager must appear before a notary and sign oaths. Petition signatures will be validated by the city clerk.
Candidate packets containing the required forms are available at the clerk’s office.
It is the candidate’s responsibility to comply with all provisions of the New Jersey Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Reporting Act. For more information call the Election Law Enforcement Commission at (609) 292-8700.
