Bargaintown Park almost ready
EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – After being announced a year ago Bargaintown Park is expected to open within the month.
The $2 million project at Ridge and Delaware avenues was largely funded through Green Acres grants.
The 25 acres includes four tennis courts, two basketball courts, two soccer fields, a full-size baseball field, a tot lot and a 1-mile walking trail around the park’s perimeter.
The full-size Babe Ruth baseball field is only the second full-size field in the township.
